Where to cycle safely in Singapore

Below are the lists of parks and gardens in Singapore where there are bicycle lanes and away from the bustle of the city. You can drive to the locations and unload your bike for an afternoon of family fun. Except for Pulau Ubin, you would need to take a bum boat across to the nice rustic island. There are bikes for hire on the island - From S$8-12 for the day, or you can bring your bike up the bumboat for S$2.50/bike; the same charges for a person.

Personally if you are training for OCBC Singapore, or need to burn 2000 calories, you would prefer East Coast Park. There are Park Connector Networks connected to the ECP, and you can easily get a 50 km ride without much disturbance especially since MacDonald's at Marine Cove has shut it's doors in March earlier this year. Operating since 1982, a bulk of my fun memories cycling and rollerblading has been at this place.
